Charlotte Church Tells Leveson Inquiry About Singing on Murdoch's Yacht
Charlotte Church told the Leveson Inquiry that she sang on Rupert Murdoch's yacht when she was 13. She said she was offered either $100,000 pounds or favorable press in Murdoch's newspapers in exchange. Charlotte says her mother wanted her to take the $100,000 pounds option, but her management company encouraged her to take the favorable press option instead, because Murdoch was a very powerful man.
