Fashion designer Roberto Cavalli has been cleared
of tax evasion charges.
After years of drawn-out legal debates and media scrutiny, Roberto Cavalli has been fully cleared of a tax evasion indictment by Italy's Supreme Court of Cassation. The country's major court of last resort has annulled the verdict issued by the Appeal Court in Florence on January 21,2008, which convicted the designer to 12 months of imprisonment on charges of fiscal evasion.
Well, that must be a relief for him. Now he can just focus on making more fabulous clothes and accessories.
