LG Electronics showcased its largest capacity French-door refrigerator – measuring 31 cubic feet – at 2012 Consumer Electronics Show (CES). One of the features of the new refrigerator that is getting a lot of attention is the Blast Chiller. The Blast Chiller earned the refrigerator the coveted CES 2012 "Best of Innovations" Award. The Blast Chiller can rapidly cool a canned beverage.
Moon-bum Shin, Executive Vice President and CEO of LG, says, "The Blast Chiller feature allows users to put a can in the fridge and have it ice cold in just a few minutes."
