Subway Malfunction Leaves 3 Year Old Stranded on Platform

It's every parent's nightmare: being separated from their young child. But this story has a happy ending. At 8:15 on Monday morning in Portland, Oregon Aaron Bailey was riding the TriMet subway with his 3-year-old son, Aiden. When they arrived at the Main Street station, Aiden got out first while holding his dad's hand. Aiden accidentally hit the handicapped exit button which malfunctioned and closed the train door, taking Aiden's father away while his son was on the platform looking confused. Luckily, a kind woman realized what happened and took charge of Aiden until his dad caught a return train. Take a look:
