The Sun-Drop diamond - the world's largest pear-shaped diamond - sold for $10.9 million at an auction in Geneva by Sotheby's. The diamond was exhibited earlier this year at London's Natural History Museum. The rough for the Sun-Drop Diamond was discovered in South Africa in 2010.
