Dita Von Teese Has a Frederick's of Hollywood Christmas
Dita Von Teese is looking mightly fine in her new ads for Frederick's of Hollywood. The lingerie company, which is determined to knock Victoria's Secret off its pedestal has gone for a
vintage glam look for its 2007-08 Holiday collection. Dita has signed on to star in the company's upcoming "Pin-Up Parade" Holiday campaign.
"Dita is a perfect fit for Frederick's of Hollywood," said company Creative Director, William Ford. "Her retro-glam style and persona highlight Frederick's iconic brand and rich Hollywood heritage. The catalogs featuring this burlesque legend will be collector's items for years to come."
"As a longtime fan of the history of the Frederick's brand, it's a great honor to be chosen to represent the company by appearing as the star of the 2007 "Holiday Pinup Parade," said Dita Von Teese. "Frederick's of Hollywood has been giving women the accoutrements they desire to bring glamour and sensuality into their lives by offering a wide selection of both the elegant and the risque since 1946. I'm proud to be the face of such a legendary institution of lingerie!"
For the new line, Frederick's drew inspiration from it's own line of lingerie that it made in the 1940's (the company has been around for 60 years).
