Chevrolet Launches Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Jeep Wrangler

Jeep has decided to double down on its partnership with the Call of Duty videogame franchise. The new Wrangler sport-utility vehicle now has a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 edition. The tagline of the new campaign is, "The toughest vehicle in the world. Any world." Jeep is going all out for this one, with ads across all platforms. The billboards are electroluminescent so they can be seen at night.

The WSJ's Jonathan Welsh talks about Jeep's strategy to lure in gaming fans. Jonathan said he test drove the last version, the Call of Duty Black Ops Jeep -- that one was black with a skull and crossbones emblem. The Modern Warfare version has a wartime theme; it is the top of the line for Jeeps and retails in the $30,000+ range.
