Best Buy to Open Stores at Midnight for Black Friday
Best Buy is joining other major retailers, including Target, Kohl's and Macy's, with midnight store openings on Black Friday. It is the earliest Black Friday opening for Best Buy. Midnight openings have become very trendy for big retailers on Black Friday this year.
Barry Judge, Best Buy's executive vice president and chief marketing officer, says, "At Best Buy, we're focused on creating an unparalleled shopping experience for our customers. Black Friday is just the beginning. This commitment will come to life throughout the holiday season in a variety of offers and initiatives that give customers great values and the most convenient ways to shop for everyone on their list."
Best Buy is also offering free standard shipping on BestBuy.com through December 27th. They are also offering for sales between Nov. 13, 2011 through Dec. 24, 2011. However, there are exclusions, such as online pricing and prices during the crucial Black Friday through Cyber Monday period.
