Video: True Blood's Ryan Kwanten Talks New Film, Red Hill
Ryan Kwanten, who plays the dim-witted but lovable Jason Stackhouse on True Blood, stars in the new Australian film Red Hill. Jason plays a cop who must hunt down an escaped criminal. Ryan says it's a bit like Australia's answer to No Country for Old Men, and he liked the role because it allowed him to grow the character over the length of the movie. Ryan also talked about how he approaches playing Jason Stackhouse -- he doesn't like to know too much of the script because Jason isn't the smartest guy and Ryan doesn't want his knowledge creeping into
Jason's character. It always amazes us how different Ryan is in real life from Jason -- Ryan is just such brilliant actor. Love his Australian accent. Take a look:
