Balloon Dad Richard Heene Says He Thought Son Was in Balloon
Richard Heene, the man behind the Colorado balloon hoax, tells Larry King that he actually believed his son Falcon was inside the balloon. He says this despite pleading guilty to the hoax. In the full CNN interview to air on Friday, Heene reportedly tells Larry King that he plead guilty to keep his wife from being deported. His wife did tell police the balloon incident was a publicity stunt. Watch as a sobbing Richard Heene tells Larry King he though his son was in the balloon.
