A bluefin tuna has sold for a record price in Japan. A 593 pound tuna sold for $736,000 to Kiyoshi Kimura, the owner of a sushi restaurant chain. Last year a much larger 754 pound bluefin tuna sold for $396,000. This year's sale easily smashes the record. There is concern about tuna overfishing and reduced quantities of tuna.
