Video: Stephen Colbert Blasts Komen Foundation for Suing Smaller Charities With Donors' Money

Stephen Colbert has been a big supporter of the Susan G. Komen for the cure charity which raises money to fight breast cancer. But he wasn't too happy to hear that the organization spent $1 million of donor money to sue other cancer charities that used the words "for the cure" in their advertising.

Last night Colbert blasted Komen giving it a satirical tip of the hat for its efforts. Colbert said, "I'm giving a big Tip of my Hat to the Komen foundation for spending almost a million dollars a year in donor funds to sue these other groups. If they don't own the phrase 'for the Cure,' then people might donate money thinking it's going to an organization dedicated to curing cancer, when instead it's wasted on organizations dedicated to curing cancer."

Colbert also did a pretty funny riff on the Spider-Man musical. Take a look:
