This winter seems to be trending colder than the past several years. One indication is that the West has already been slammed by a huge snowstorm just a few days before Halloween. Cheyenne and Denver are a couple cities buried by big snows. Denver International Airport had many flights canceled because of the snow. The cold weather can lead to snow and ice which makes for hazardous travel but it may help retailers sell snow shovels and winter fashions. Take a look:
