Most Popular Children's Halloween Costumes for 2011
Princess is still the number one choice for children's Halloween costumes according to NRF’s 2011 Top Costumes survey, conducted by BIGresearch. Princess has been the top pick for seven consecutive years. Zombie costumes are more popular this year. They jumped from number 22 last year to number nine on the children's top costume list. Superheroes and characters from popular movies are also popular choices. The Gryffindor Robe child costume and a Stealth Ninja child costume are pictured above.
Here are the results of the survey. The parents of over 69 million children were surveyed and at the time nearly 74% of them knew what their children's Halloween costume choice would be. The results below show the costume choices of the 46,784,950 children who had already made their costume choice.
