Maytag Takes Lady's Pink Washer and Dryer to Maytag Museum

Posted on October 22, 2009

Jane Thompson's pink 1957 Maytag washer and dryer set is headed for the Maytag museum. She has had the washer and dryer set for 52 years. Maytag offered Jane a new free washer and dryer in exchange for the set when she called them about a broken latch. The washer and dryer still work despite the broken latch.

The lady considered the offer for about 3 weeks before accepting it. She wants her old set back if the new one doesn't work.

The set looks like it is in really good condition. The video shows the set being taken away to the museum destination.
