Kids are usually more influenced by movies and tv characters in their costume choices than adults are. Characters like Hannah Montana, Spider-Man and Batman are high on kids' Hallowen plans this year according to the NRF's 2008 survey conducted by BIGresearch. However, adults tend to stick to with more traditional costumes as you can see in the 2008 list of most popular adult costume choices. Princess costumes were also #1 in the 2007 survey. However, Hannah Montana has zoomed up the children's costume list from #23 to #3. Spider-Man, pirates and witches were high on last year's list as well. Here's this year's list of the most popular children's costumes.
