William Shatner Unveils New Comic Book at NYC Comic Con
New York Comic-Con has a big turnout: fans are turning out in full force and full costumes. William Shatner was signing autographs and unveiling his new comic book line, which if his comments are any indication, sounds R-rated. Bill's latest comic book is the fourth in the series that he developed
based on his TekWar sf novels. The novels are set in the 22nd century when humans get addicted to "tek" a way to access virtual reality that is highly addictive.
"It's not your grandfather's comic book anymore," he says, "It's filled with lust and licentiousness, it's filled with sexual innuendo — absolutely! It's a mature thing."
