Elvis' Hair Sells at Auction for $15,000

A clump of Elvis Presley's hair sold for $15,000 at auction. The hair is believed to have been cut from Elvis' head in 1958 when he joined the Army.

There were other Elvis memorabilia at the Chicago auction, including a shirt which sold for $52,000, photos, scarves, dolls and Elvis Pez dispensers. No one knows if the hair is authentic. But you just know that some day some idiot will try to clone Elvis. If they end up with a tone-deaf plumber from New Jersey, well, we'll know it was a fake.
