Chef Thomas Keller Talks French Laundry Pop-up Restaurant at Harrods
Chef Thomas Keller set up a temporary French Laundry pop-up restaurant at Harrods earlier this month. Keller's French Laundry is a three star Michelin rated restaurant in Napa Valley. There were a total of twenty lunch and dinner seatings at the Harrod's French Laundry. About 1,400 lucky diners enjoyed the special nine-course Chef's Tasting Menu. Some of the menu items included Oysters and Pearls, Chowder made with Sacramento sturgeon, razor clams, sweet corn and celeriac, and miniature canapes. You can find the menu here (PDF).
Thomas Keller says he loved the challenge of bringing the French Laundry to Harrods. He says they looked at every detail as if they were opening a full restaurant. Take a look:
