Record Stores: The Last Place to Find New Music

Music PicThe music industry is in quite a turmoil. Radiohead is selling their latest album via online download. Nine Inch Nails has stepped away from its record label and plans to sell directly to their fans. Oasis is rumored to be considering a similar move. Madonna has ditched her record company and turned over her music sales, concerts and licensing deals to a concert promotion firm. Now, we hear that the Spice Girls are going to sell their new album at Victoria's Secret -- see here. The truth is young people simply don't buy at music stores anymore: they buy their music online. Music stores will soon be a thing of the past.
