Christian Louboutin is designing three Barbie dolls that will be released over the next few months. Louboutin had one problem with Barbie's figure - he thought her ankles were fat. WWDquotes a Louboutin spokesperson as saying, "He found her ankles were too fat." Louboutin apparently had the dolls legs reshaped a makeover for for his Barbie collection. Mattel released a statement on Barbie's behalf saying it was her arch that needed lifting so she could fit in Louboutin's heels.
"My dear friend Christian loves my ankles, it was my arch he wanted to give a little more 'lift' to so I could rock those high heels. It's all in good fashion fun!"
