The Nerd Baby Alphabet by Tiffany Ard

Posted on October 13, 2006

Award-winning graphics artist Tiffany Ard worked for large corporations for 12 years. But when she had children, she wanted to take her art to a different, more whimsical place. Now she has her own business creating custom fine art for children's rooms. She works in a variety of media and can create specialized artwork to match your child's interests and favorite colors.

Tiffany has just created an absolutely fabulous item called the "Nerd Baby Alphabet." The cards feature the alphabet with a scientific bent for your budding little astronaut or theoretical physicist. We think the Nerd Baby Alphabet isn't actually nerdy at all -- but it certainly is geeky. And remember, Geeky is In. So, your tot will grow up knowing that: A is for Atom, B is for Binary Code, H is for Hydrogen Bonding, K is for Kepler's Third Law, V is for Virus and Z is for Zoological Oddity. The cards are printed on bright white acid-free cardstock. They are best suited for display, but Tiffany says some customers have had the cards laminated so they can survive "full on toddler abuse."

The Nerd Alphabet is available at NerdyBaby.

Update: The flash card set is now called the Science ABC Flash Cards. It retails for $20.
