Lenny Kravitz talks about his latest album, Black and White America, which features collaborations with Jay-Z and Drake. He also talks about his upcoming role in Hunger Games, the film adaptation of the bestselling book by Suzanne Collins.
Lenny says he's never been able to
make a record that has just one
sound. When he's doing a song that he
thinks needs a collaborator, he
listens to the music to see whose
voice would fit best. That's how he
ended up collaborating with Drake and
Jay Z on the album. Lenny says he is really
excited to do Hunger Games. Director Gary Ross cast
Lenny as District 12 stylist Cinna,
who is sympathetic to Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta
(Josh Hutcherson). Take a look:
