China Puts Dissident's Nobel Peace Prize Winner's Wife Under House Arrest
Chinese government officials are furious that jailed dissident Liu Xiabo won the Nobel Peace Prize. Today China blocked EU diplomat Simon Sharpe from entering the home of Liu's wife, Liu Xia. Liu Xia has been placed under house arrest since her husband won the Nobel Prize. She twittered that she is still under house arrest and that her phone has been cut off. She hopes to travel to Oslo to collect her husband's medal and prize money, but we doubt that is going to happen. Take a look:
