Garth Brooks Helps Build Houses in Birmingham for Habitat for Humanity
Garth Brooks and hundreds of volunteers built and repaired houses in Birmingham as part of the 27th annual Habitat for Humanity Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Work Project. Brooks worked in the Wylam Oaks subdivision of Birmingham. The country star also performed for Habitat supporters on Thursday evening. Brooks and his wife, Trisha Yearwood, previously have volunteered with Habitat in the Gulf Coast and in Los Angeles.
