Saks Fifth Avenue to Close Southampton, NY Store on Saturday
WWDreports that Saks Fifth Avenue will be closing its 15,000 square foot store in Southampton, N.Y., on Saturday. WWD says that Saks CEO and Chairman Stephen I. Sadove said in August that he didn't think Saks would be closing too many more stores. Sadove said, "We expect at most only a few more potential Saks Fifth Avenue closings."
Saks has also said it will be looking to close stores that are losing money and have a lease about to expire.
