Apple Launches New iPod Touch and iPod Nano With Lower Prices
Apple launched its new iPhone 4S at a press conference today. It also launched new iPod touch and iPod nano devices with lower prices. The iPod touch will be available in black and white models starting at $199. The new iPod nano costs $129 and features a redesigned user interface, new digital clock faces and upgraded fitness features.
The new iPod touch is powered by iOS 5. It has over 200 new features including iMessage, Game Center, Notifications and Wi-Fi Syncing to iTunes. The new iPod Touch also works with Apple's iCloud.
The design for the new iPod nano includes larger icons for its Multi-Touch user interface. Uses can choose from 16 new digital clock faces, which include classic analog looks and Disney characters. The new nano also includes new fitness features, including tracking the time, pace and distance of your run, the calories you burn, and the number of steps you walk. The iPod nano is available in seven colors including silver, graphite, blue, green, orange, pink and (Product) Red.
