Customers Outraged by New Monthly Bank of America Debit Card Fee
Some customers are angry at Bank of America's new debit card fee. The bank is adding a $5 monthly fee for use of a debit card. Only accounts that maintain balances of $25,000 or more are exempt. One customer told the AP that while $60 a year is not much, she is concerned the fee could grow. She says, "$60 a year is not a huge deal, but who knows maybe next it will be a $120 a year and then $240 a year."
