Belkin has announced the launch of its HD Bluetooth Music Receiver. The device can stream content from smartphones and tablets to a home stereo or standalone speakers using Bluetooth. It also features an NFC chip for tap-and-play capability. The receiver can store settings for up to eight devices.
The receiver is sold at Verizon stores and online at
Belkin.com and
Amazon.com. It costs $59.99.
Nate Kraft, director of product management at Belkin, says in a release, "The HD Bluetooth Music Receiver gives you the best of both worlds, exceptional audio quality and the convenience of accessing music stored directly on your mobile device or your favorite music service. It even stores settings for up to eight different devices, meaning the whole family can stream their favorite music seamlessly to the best sounding system in your home."
