Barcelona Footballer Lionel Messi's Foot Cast in Sold Gold
The foot of Barcelona soccer star Lionel Messi was cast in sold gold and put up for auction in Tokyo. The Telegraphreports that the sold gold foot weights 25 kilograms and is valued at $5.25 million. Part of the proceeds from the sale will help the Leo Messi Foundation and support Japanese children impacted by the 2011 tsunami. The golden foot was created by jeweler Ginza Tanaka. Take a look:
