Barbra Streisand gave a
fabulous performance of her hit "Memories" during
the 2013 Academy Awards. Barbra looked stunning in a custom gown by her good friend Donna Karan. The gown is called "City Lights." The black asymmetrical, bias-cut gown features a waterfall of chiffon layers encrusted with matte gold sequins and beads. A long sleeve chiffon capelet overlays the gown, falling dramatically to the floor in back.
Donna
said, "Everything I do with Barbra is a collaboration born of our artistry, our friendship and our love for one another. We're sisters."
Barbra accessorized with a cascade of gold chains and a gold snake ring. Barbra was photographed at the Governors Ball after the Oscars with singer Shirley Bassy, who
performed "Goldfinger."
