Barbie Plays a Ballerina in New Animated Film Released on DVD and Blu-ray

A new Barbie movie is out on DVD and Blu-ray. This is the 25th movie release for Barbie Entertainment. Over 110 million Barbie movie DVDs have been sold to date. In the new movie, Barbie in the Pink Shoes, Barbie is Kristyn Farraday, a ballerina with very big dreams. Kristyn tries on a pair of sparkling pink shoes and suddenly she and her best friend are whisked away to a fantastical place.
Mattel is also backing the new ballerina film with a new toy line. The toys include the Barbie as Kristyn Farraday doll, Ken as Prince Siegfried Doll and Barbie as Giselle and Odette Feature Dolls.
