Apple's Circular Headquarter Plans Approved

Apple's plans for a circular headquarters have been approved. The Mercury News reports that the headquarter plans have been approved by the Cupertino City Council. The move is not a surprise as having Apple's headquarters in Cupertino is a big boost to the city's economy.

Steve Jobs showed off the plans for the 2.8-million-square-foot headquarters to the city council in 2011 and said it could be the best office building in the world. CNN reports the building will use an unprecedented volume of curved glass. The building's design has been compared to a spaceship. 7,000 trees will also be planted on the campus. Take a look:
