Acer Launches 27-inch Android All-in-One

Acer has launched a 27-inch Android All-in-One device. The Acer TA272 HUL has a 2560 by 1440 pixel resolution touch screen display. The All-in-One is powered by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Other specs include Nvidia Tegra 4 quad-core processor, 2-megapixel webcam, USB 3.0 port, HDMI input, Dolby speakers and 16GB of storage.
The TA272 HUL has a big attractive touch screen, but at $1100 it may be more than people want to spend on an Android device. If it could also run Windows it would be much more appealing.
Acer also announced a 21-inch Android All-in-One that will cost $699.
An article on Yahoo suggests thinking them not as PCs or huge tablets but as "touch-sensitive monitors that have the added benefit of being able to run their own OS."
